- Suitable tools for removing covers or clips if required
Steps
- Park the vehicle safely and switch off the engine.
- Locate the cabin filter compartment, commonly behind or underneath the glove box depending on the vehicle.
- Remove the required cover, clips or glove-box components according to the vehicle procedure.
- Open the cabin filter housing.
- Note the airflow direction marked on the old filter.
- Carefully remove the old filter.
- Clean loose dust and debris from the filter housing.
- Confirm that the new filter is the correct application.
- Install the new filter with the airflow arrow pointing in the correct direction.
- Reinstall the housing cover and any removed components.
- Turn on the ventilation system and check that it operates normally.
